Proposed Gaya-Nalanda MRT link R ecently the Narendra Modi government of India announced a huge new package for Bihar. Included in this is development of an Airport and tourist facilities. Here is a proposal from this blog that shall give a boost to International Tourism from all of East Asia and the world Nalanda University Province of Bihar Rajgir, Bihar: http://bstdc.bih.nic.in/Rajgir.htm The proposal is to; Upgrade Gaya Airport to International Standards Construct high speed mono-rail link connecting, airport, Bodh gaya, Rajgir, Nalanda ruins, Nalanda university and any other places of tourist interest nearby Transfer Nalanda ruins from ASI to Nalanda University or to a joint cell of both. Construct an auditorium/ convocation/ orientation hall at Nalanda Ruins for University use and for annual interantional cultural festivals in tourist seasons showcasing Buddhist culture from all of Asia.
